Frappé Coffee: The perfect refreshing drink for summer ☀️

The frappé coffee is a refreshing drink made with coffee, ice, and topped with creamy foam. Perfect for beating the heat, this coffee combines intensity and smoothness in every sip. With our specialty DFRNT coffee, you’ll enjoy a frappé with authentic flavor and irresistible texture.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of espresso coffee (approx. 60 ml)

  • 100 ml of cold water

  • 100 ml of cold milk (whole, skimmed, or plant-based)

  • Crushed ice

  • Whipped cream

Utensils

  • Electric mixer or manual whisk

  • Automatic frother

  • Spoon

  • DFRNT Jug

How to make the perfect frappé coffee

  1. Prepare the espresso: Pull 2 shots of fresh espresso with your coffee maker.

  2. Chill the coffee: Let the espresso rest for a few minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.

  3. Mix the ingredients: In a tall glass, combine the espresso, cold milk, and sugar to taste.

  4. Add crushed ice: Fill the glass halfway.

  5. Froth the coffee: Whisk the mixture with an electric or manual mixer until creamy and light.

  6. Add whipped cream: Place a layer of cream on top of your frappé.

  7. Garnish (optional): Sprinkle cocoa, cinnamon, or chocolate shavings.

  8. Enjoy: Stir gently and serve in your DFRNT Jug to savor a refreshing and delicious frappé.

Tips for an exceptional DFRNT frappé

  • Use dark roast coffee for a more intense flavor.

  • Adjust the amount of sugar to your preference.

  • For a thinner frappé, add a little more cold water or milk.

  • If you don’t have an electric mixer, a manual whisk works, though it will take longer to achieve the foam.

Irresistible variations

  • Mocha frappé: Add a spoonful of cocoa powder before whipping.

  • Hazelnut frappé: Add hazelnut syrup to the milk before blending.

  • Caramel frappé: Mix caramel syrup with milk for a sweet and creamy touch.
